Sherry Boulter Graduates from SDSU with Honors

Of the nearly 9,300 graduates who walked across the stage during San Diego State University's 2014 Commencement Ceremonies, only a select group graduated with honors including Sherry Boulter from La Mesa.

Boulter, who was conferred a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Based on a 4.0 GPA scale, the distinction of summa cum laude is awarded to undergraduate students with an average of at least 3.8; magna cum laude is awarded to undergraduate students with an average of at least 3.65; and cum laude is awarded to undergraduate students with an average of at least 3.5.

Graduating "with honors" is a sign of a student who has made the most of their time at SDSU enjoying transformational experiences and preparing for a successful future, whether they are joining the workforce or exploring an advanced degree.
