Amy Schultz Graduates from SDSU with Honors

2015 May 18

Of the nearly 9,600 graduates who walked across the stage during San Diego State University's Commencement Ceremonies, only a select group earned recognition as honors graduates including Amy Schultz from San Juan Capistrano.

Schultz, an alum of Capistrano Valley High School, received a degree in Kinesiology and graduated Summa Cum Laude .

Based on a 4.0 GPA scale, the distinction of summa cum laude is awarded to undergraduate students with an average of at least 3.8; magna cum laude is awarded to undergraduate students with an average of at least 3.65; and cum laude is awarded to undergraduate students with an average of at least 3.5. Some results are still pending final grades.

Graduating "with honors" is the sign of a student who has made the most of their time at SDSU, enjoying transformational experiences and preparing them for a successful future, whether they are joining the workforce or exploring an advanced degree.

Congratulations Class of 2015! Go Aztecs!
